To the memory of birds and sculptors

The Alaotra Grebe, a bird native to the largest lake in Madagascar was declared extinct last week. Apparently it hadn't been seen since September 1985.

Louise Bourgeois, an incredible contributor to the art and sculpting community also died last week. She was 98.

Such is life.
